01  —  Your target moves with your day

A rest day and a big day are not the same day.

Snack knows the difference. It pulls today's active burn from Apple Health and sets a target that fits the day you actually had.

Workout day2,140target
Eaten 1,450690 left
Rest day1,600target
Eaten 1,450150 left

Same food both days — only the gap to target changes

02  —  Only the four numbers

Everything that matters. Nothing that doesn't.

Calories, protein, carbs, fat — the four numbers, tracked cleanly. No micronutrient spreadsheet, no fields you'll never fill in.

Questions

What's a "net" calorie?
What you eat, minus what you burned moving. Snack reads your active calories from Apple Health, so today's target reflects today — not a number you set once and forgot.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
Not strictly, but the day-to-day adjusting runs on its active calories. Without Health access, Snack uses your activity level for a steady daily target instead.
Why only four numbers?
Because those four are the ones people actually act on. Snack tracks calories, protein, carbs, and fat and skips every other nutrient — fewer taps, nothing important missing.
How accurate is the AI meal estimate?
Honest answer: it's an estimate, and it can be off. But when you're staring down a plate at a barbecue, it beats the number you were about to make up.
Is my data private?
Yes — structurally. Your health data stays on your iPhone and syncs through your own iCloud. Snack has no servers in the middle, so there's nothing for us to see or sell.
